POS and back office software for food chains in Pakistan
Once a restaurant opens its second and third branch, the owner can no longer stand at every counter. ArfaPOS puts every branch under one login, compares branches side by side, moves stock from the warehouse, and runs payroll and accounts for the whole chain.
What makes this trade hard to run.
Each branch is a black box
The owner hears sales figures from branch managers by phone at midnight. There is no way to check them independently.
Same dish, different cost
The same chicken burger uses more sauce in one branch and more fillet in another. Customers notice, and so does the food cost.
Central buying, scattered stock
Oil, rice, packaging and frozen items are bought in bulk and sent to branches. Without records, nobody knows which branch received what.
Salaries, advances and the books
Forty staff across three branches, each with advances and deductions in a register. The accountant rebuilds the month from slips, and the balance sheet is always late.
Built around the way you work.
All branches in one login
Sales, expenses and stock for every branch sit under one account. The Admin Portal shows branch reports side by side, and the Admin App switches branches on the owner's phone.
Warehouse stock and transfers
Keep central stock in a warehouse section, raise purchase orders to suppliers, and record stock transfers to each branch.
Standard recipes and one menu
One menu with the same prices and recipes runs on every counter, tablet, website and QR menu. Branch food cost becomes a fair comparison.
Payroll for the whole chain
Process salaries with allowances, deductions and salary advances, with a payroll ledger for each employee.
Double-entry accounting
Chart of accounts, journal entries, payment accounts for cash, bank and mobile wallets, a balance sheet and profit and loss, all fed by real sales and expenses.
Staff roles, fingerprint login and audit logs
Each person gets only the permissions their job needs. Fingerprint and PIN login, session tracking and audit logs tie every void and price change to a name.
From opening to closing.
Early morning: warehouse dispatch
The central store sends rice, oil, frozen items and packaging to each branch. The stock transfer is recorded.
Morning: branch opening
Each branch manager receives the transfer, cashiers open their tills, and prep starts from standard recipes.
Lunch and dinner service
Each branch bills its own counter, tablet and online orders and sends them to its own kitchen screen.
Evening: owner check-in
The owner compares live sales across branches on the Admin App as the evening goes on, and gets daily WhatsApp sales reports.
Night: branch close
Each branch closes its tills and records expenses. The owner sees the day for every branch without a phone call.
Month end: payroll and accounts
Salaries are processed with advances deducted, and the profit and loss for the chain comes out of the same system.
Growing from one outlet to many
Many Pakistani food chains start as a single successful outlet, then add a branch in another part of the city, then one in the next city. The founder knew every supplier and every cook at the first outlet. By the third branch, that is not possible. The business now needs the same recipes, the same prices and the same reports everywhere. Our guide on running multiple restaurant branches covers the people side. This page covers the software side.
Worked example: comparing three branches
| Branch | Daily sales (Rs) | Food cost (Rs) | Food cost % |
|---|---|---|---|
| Branch A | 240,000 | 79,200 | 33% |
| Branch B | 180,000 | 68,400 | 38% |
| Branch C | 210,000 | 69,300 | 33% |
All three branches use the same recipes. Branches A and C run at 33%, Branch B at 38%. If Branch B ran at 33%, its food cost would be Rs 59,400 on Rs 180,000 of sales. The gap is Rs 9,000 a day, which is Rs 270,000 over 30 days. The cause could be over-portioning, wastage, a supplier charging that branch more, or stock leaving without a sale. A stock count at Branch B, compared with what the recipes say should be there, narrows it down, and the stock history shows every movement.
This comparison only works because recipes are the same in every branch and every sale deducts stock. Without that, branch numbers are just totals with no way to explain them.
Central warehouse, branch kitchens
ArfaPOS keeps kitchen and warehouse sections. Bulk purchases go into the warehouse against a purchase order and the supplier's ledger. When stock is sent to a branch, a stock transfer moves it from the warehouse to that branch. At any time you can see what the warehouse holds and what each branch has received. Suppliers and their balances stay in one place, so payment terms negotiated centrally are tracked centrally. See multi-branch restaurant management for more.
Same menu, same prices, every channel
Keep one menu, one price list and one set of recipes. It syncs to every counter, waiter tablet, QR menu, your ordering website and your Android app, and sold-out items are hidden online. A customer pays the same price for the same dish in every outlet, and a branded ordering app carries the chain's name on the customer's phone.
Payroll and accounts in the same system
A chain with forty staff spends days on salaries. ArfaPOS payroll records allowances, deductions and salary advances, so a cook who took Rs 5,000 in the middle of the month on a Rs 35,000 salary is paid Rs 30,000, and the payroll ledger shows why. Double-entry accounting builds the balance sheet and profit and loss from the sales, expenses, purchases and salaries already in the system, so the accountant works from the books, not from slips. Read about voids and refunds to see why audit logs matter in a chain.
Worked example: what three branches cost
Payroll, accounting, multi-branch, tablet ordering and the customer website are on the Business plan at Rs 14,999 a month. Each extra branch on Business is Rs 13,000. For three branches: Rs 14,999 plus 2 × Rs 13,000 = Rs 40,999 a month, billed monthly with no yearly lock-in. FBR and PRA e-invoicing, the owner's Admin App, the WhatsApp order bot and daily WhatsApp reports are all included on Business.
The AiroxLab team sets up the menu and recipes once and trains each branch's staff over WhatsApp and video call, with a dedicated onboarding session. For a chain with special processes, such as a central kitchen that cooks for all branches, talk to us through the quote form so we can understand your setup first.

Fast food outlets
Burger, broast and shawarma outlets live on speed and deals. ArfaPOS bills a combo in seconds, sends it to the kitchen screen, shows waiting customers when their order is ready, and counts every bun, fillet and box of fries against the recipe.
Restaurants
A family restaurant runs three businesses at once: a dining hall, a takeaway counter and a delivery line. ArfaPOS puts all three on one live system, from the waiter's tablet and the kitchen screen to the rider's phone, and shows the owner what was sold, spent and left in the store by closing time.
Pizza shops
In a pizza shop, cheese is the most expensive thing in the kitchen and the easiest to overuse. ArfaPOS costs every size of every pizza, keeps the oven queue in order on the kitchen screen, tracks every rider on the road, and shows how much mozzarella the day's sales should have used.
Bakeries and sweet shops
A bakery bakes in the morning and sells until late at night, takes cake orders days in advance, and throws away what doesn't sell. ArfaPOS keeps the counter billing, the cake advances, the recipes, the flour stock and the tax receipts in one place.
