Citrus, grain and seasonal credit
Sargodha and the surrounding district are known for kinnow. During the season, orchards, contractors, commission agents in the fruit mandi and packing and grading units all work flat out, and trucks leave for other cities and for export. Outside the citrus season, wheat, sugarcane and other crops keep the grain market and agri input dealers busy.
Almost all of this runs on credit tied to the harvest. A fertilizer dealer gives inputs to a grower in autumn and expects payment when the crop sells. An arhti advances money to a contractor and settles at the end of the season. With dozens of open accounts, a paper register is easy to lose track of.
Which product fits
- Agri input dealers: Taajir records every credit sale to a grower, every part payment and the running balance. At harvest, send each grower his statement on WhatsApp.
- Wholesalers and distributors: stock across shop and godown, purchases from suppliers and party ledgers, on the Business plan at Rs 5,000 a month.
- Hardware and grocery stores: Taajir Standard at Rs 4,000 a month, or Rs 36,000 a year, covers billing, stock and udhaar.
- Restaurants and food points: ArfaPOS for dine-in, takeaway and delivery billing, with a kitchen display on Growth and Business. Plans start at Rs 4,999 a month.
Collecting money is where most of these businesses struggle. Our guide on collecting udhaar payments covers practical habits that work alongside the software.
Commission agents and packing units with very specific workflows, such as tracking crates by grower or grading results, may need custom software. AiroxLab scopes that on a call and quotes after.
Take a fertilizer dealer with eighty growers on account. In Taajir, each grower has his own ledger with every bag sold, every part payment and the balance. When the kinnow money comes in, the dealer can sort out who has paid and who still owes, and send each one a WhatsApp reminder with the amount.
Setup from next door
Bhakkar is close to Sargodha, but AiroxLab still does all setup and training remotely, over video call, screen share and WhatsApp. That keeps it quick: no waiting for a visit, and you can schedule training after the shop closes. We help load items, opening stock and each party's balance, and train your staff. Support is on WhatsApp in Urdu and English.
Taajir works offline and syncs later, and the mobile app lets you check balances from the mandi or the orchard. Taajir's Business plan also has commission agent reports.
