Warehouse and godown management software in Pakistan
When your stock sits in a shop, a godown behind the market and maybe a second godown on the bypass, a single stock figure is not enough. Taajir keeps stock for each location and shows the total across all of them.
Stock per location
Each godown and shop has its own stock figure and its own opening stock, so you know where the goods physically are.
Total across all godowns
See the full quantity and value of an item across every location in one report.
Transfers between godowns
Move 50 bags from the yard to the shop with a stock transfer. One figure goes down, the other goes up, and the history shows it.
Godown staff on mobile
Staff at the godown use the mobile app, with access limited by role to what they need.
Who moved what
The audit log records each entry and change by user, which matters when several people handle stock.
Built for weak signal
Many godowns have poor coverage. Offline mode keeps entries going and syncs when signal returns.
When one stock figure stops being useful
A building materials dealer in Rawalpindi tells a contractor he has 700 bags of cement. True, but 300 are at the shop godown in the main market and 400 are at the yard outside the city. The contractor needs 500 delivered by noon to a site near the yard. Can it be done from one location, or does the loader need to make two trips? The owner does not know without calling both places.
This is the everyday problem of running more than one godown. The total is right, but the location is unknown. Orders get promised from the wrong place, staff at one godown cannot see what the other has, and month-end counts do not match because goods moved without a record.
Stock by location, at a glance
Here is how that dealer's main items look in Taajir with two warehouses set up.
| Item | Main market godown | Bypass yard | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cement, 50 kg bag | 300 bags | 400 bags | 700 bags |
| Steel bar, 12 mm | 2 tons | 6 tons | 8 tons |
| Sand | 12 trolleys | 12 trolleys | |
| Tiles, 2x2 ft | 180 boxes | 40 boxes | 220 boxes |
Now the answer is immediate: 400 bags at the yard cover most of the order, and 100 come from the main godown. The total is still there for valuation, and the split tells you where to send the loader.
Good habits for multi-godown stock
- Every location is a warehouse in the system. Even the back room of the shop counts if goods are stored there.
- Receive goods into the right godown. When a supplier's truck unloads at the yard, the purchase is recorded against the yard.
- Record movements between godowns. If 50 bags go from the yard to the shop, enter a stock transfer, or both figures go wrong.
- Bill from the right location. Choose the warehouse on the invoice, so stock comes off the godown the goods actually left.
- Count one godown at a time. Monthly or quarterly counts per location find gaps faster than one big annual count.
- Give each godown keeper a login. With user permissions, each person works only on the screens they need.

Why the value of each godown matters
Owners often know their total stock value roughly, but not how it splits. Say the yard holds Rs 2.4 million of steel and cement while the shop godown holds Rs 900,000 of tiles and fittings. That tells you where insurance matters most, where to put your most trusted keeper, and where a slow-moving pile is hiding. Stock valuation by location turns a vague sense of 'bohat maal para hai' into numbers you can act on.
Load-shedding, signal and the godown
Godowns are often at the edge of town, in basements or behind thick walls where mobile signal is weak. A system that needs a live connection for every entry will be skipped by the keeper, and the stock figures will drift. Taajir's offline mode lets the keeper record receipts and dispatches anyway, and the entries sync when the signal comes back.
Is this a full WMS?
Large warehouses for multinational companies use systems that track every shelf and bin, with scanners and robots. That is not what a Pakistani trader with two or three godowns needs, and paying for it would be wasteful. Taajir focuses on what matters at your size: how much of each item is at each location, what it is worth, and who recorded what. The same system also does your billing, purchases, ledgers and reports, so warehouse stock is never out of step with sales.
