Taajir

Software for cloth, garment and textile shops in Pakistan

Cloth and garment businesses live by the season. Taajir shows what sold, what is left and who still owes you, so the next lawn or winter order is based on numbers.

The problem

What makes this trade hard to run.

Season-end leftover stock

Every season ends with suits and pieces that did not sell. If you do not know the count and cost, you cannot price the clearance sale properly.

Many designs, colours and sizes

One collection can have dozens of designs, each in several colours. Knowing which ones sold out and which are stuck is guesswork on paper.

Credit to retailers in other cities

Wholesale cloth goes by cargo to shops in other cities, paid later. Bills, bilty and payments get spread across registers and phones.

Eid rush at the counter

In the last ten days before Eid, the counter is crowded and staff bill fast. Mistakes and missing bills peak exactly when sales do.

How Taajir handles it

Built around the way you work.

Each design as its own item

Set up designs, colours or sizes as separate items so stock and sales are clear for each one.

Stock and sales reports by item

See what sold and what is left at any time, including at the end of the season.

Ledgers for out-of-city buyers

Retailers in other cities have their own ledger. Invoices go on WhatsApp the day goods are booked with cargo.

Purchases from mills and suppliers

Record purchases from mills, wholesalers and stitching units, and what you owe each of them.

Fast billing that keeps working

Billing on the web or mobile app, with offline mode if the internet drops during the rush.

A working day

From opening to closing.

  1. Opening

Bales and suit boxes are opened for display. The owner checks yesterday's sales by design.

  2. Counter and wholesale sales

Walk-in customers buy suits and cloth by the metre, while retailers place bulk orders.

  3. Cargo dispatch

Bulk orders for other cities are invoiced, sent by cargo, and the invoice goes to the buyer on WhatsApp.

  4. Supplier purchases

A new lot arrives from the mill. The purchase is entered and the supplier's payable updated.

  5. Evening review

The owner checks cash, credit given and which designs are selling fastest this week.

How the cloth trade works

From Faisalabad's cloth markets to Anarkali in Lahore and Tariq Road in Karachi, the textile trade runs on seasons. Lawn in spring, then Eid collections, then winter khaddar and shawls. Shops buy heavily before each season, sell hard for a few weeks, and are left with stock that must be cleared before the next one. Many also sell wholesale to smaller shops in other cities, who pay after they sell.

The two questions that decide a season's profit are simple. What did we buy, and what is left? Without a record, most owners answer them by walking through the shop.

A worked example: one design over a season

Say you bought 400 suits of one lawn design at Rs 2,250 each, for Rs 9,00,000. Here is how the season went:

StageSuitsRate (Rs)Amount (Rs)
Bought4002,2509,00,000
Sold during the season3103,2009,92,000
Cleared in the season-end sale902,0001,80,000
Total sales40011,72,000

The design made Rs 2,72,000 over its cost. Notice that the first 310 suits covered the purchase with only Rs 92,000 to spare, and the season-end sale added another Rs 1,80,000. Taajir's stock report would have shown you, two weeks before Eid, that 90 suits of this design were still on the shelf. That is when you decide whether to push them with a small discount or keep them for the clearance sale. Without that number, many owners reorder a design that already has stock left.

Selling to shops in other cities

Wholesale cloth sellers often send goods by cargo to retailers in Sargodha, Multan or smaller towns. The retailer pays in parts. In Taajir, each buyer is a party with a ledger. The invoice goes on WhatsApp the day the goods are booked, so there is no question later about what was sent. When payments come in by bank transfer, they are entered against the buyer and the balance updates. The WhatsApp payment reminders page explains how reminders work.

Designs, colours and sizes

The simplest approach in Taajir is to treat each design, colour or size that you want to track as its own item. A ready-made garment shop may set up each size separately. An unstitched suit seller may track each design and leave colours together. Choose the level of detail you will actually keep up during the Eid rush. The AiroxLab team helps you decide during remote setup.

The rush before Eid

The last days before Eid bring the most sales and the most mistakes. Taajir lets several staff bill at once, each with their own login. User permissions and the audit log keep control without the owner standing over every counter. Offline mode keeps billing if the internet drops. After the rush, reports show the totals.

Price and trial

Taajir Standard is Rs 4,000 a month (Rs 36,000 a year) for a single shop. Business is Rs 5,000 a month (Rs 50,000 a year) if you keep separate stock in a godown or a second outlet. If you also run a stitching unit, the Manufacturing and Job Work add-ons cover production; see our page for manufacturers.
